Kaitlin Jardin

Animals have always been a big part of Kaitlin’s life (dogs and horses in particular), but it wasn’t until she moved from Southern CA with her husband in 2014 that she pursued a professional career as a trainer. Now she and her husband have 3 children, 4 dogs, and some livestock at their home in West Jordan.

Kaitlin began working as a veterinary technician at the age of 16, and attended CAL Poly Pomona with the intention of becoming a veterinarian. Realizing she didn’t want to be tied down to this career she finished her education with a BA in Literature and Language, with an emphasis in technical writing. After moving to Utah Kaitlin worked at Amor Animal Hospital (now VCA Amor) and a local dog daycare and boarding facility.

In 2015 Kaitlin decided she was done helping animals from the office and began working as a professional trainer for Robyn Carlson and Kudos 2 Canines. Since then she has pursued training with a passion, and has attended many workshops to further her knowledge in animal behavior and psychology, sports, nutrition, and obedience. She also runs Wasatch Front GRC Club for GRC Dogsports. She left Kudos 2 Canines in 2023 to pursue her individual dog training career.

She has received education from from the Canine-Human Research institute, the International Association of Canine Professionals general conferences, Joel Silverman’s Dog Trainer Certification Courses, Brittany Brauer’s Puppy Potential Workshop, Jay Jack’s Play as the Way and Advanced GRC Workshops, Steve’s Raw.U, Northeast K9 Conditioning Academy, and has spent countless hours learning nosework and rally from local Utah trainers and mentors.

She is a AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and is working towards becoming a certified Canine Nutritionist.
